The other poster is correct, even if you have long cycles a pregnancy test will be accurate 14 days after ovulation, whether or not your period is late. For women with a 28 day cycle, it just so happens that 14 days after ovulation is when they would miss their period. But if you ovulated on July 15th then a test would be accurate by now, period late or not.
