What would you do if u were in my shoes?

I get where you're comming from. I mean, I dont have a child yet, but I do have a parent with a drinking problem. Its hard. On one hand, you want you kids to know a good grandmother whos loving. And in your heart you know shes in there somewhere. On the other hand, the alcohol turns them into a differengt person. Someone you dont know or trust, whos unpredictable and irresponsible. To be honest, sometimes they never change no matter how many eye-opening moments they have. (Like my father) But bottom line is, you're their mother. You know whats best for them. Just because you're mom isnt herself that doesnt mean you need to let down your maternal gurad. Its your responsibility to protect those beautiful kids, even if its from your own mom. In your gut, you know whats right for your babys.
