What should i do for my turtle in winter?

opal let her GO. She needs to bury herself in the mud banks to live through winter. If you wait..the ground will be too hard for her to dig below the frost line and she will die. Unless you have an aquarium with a heat rock and lamp and go buy her crickets and worms all winter and keep her inside ..just let her go
